A Few Words
From Dream to Grape
The dream started in a vineyard in the Western Cape winelands. Two wine lovers and an oddly placed collection of wine barrels, wine bottles and plans that grew exponentially in audacity. Bottles and bottles of wine accumulated from friends and colleagues and strangers and families – all of whom made it to the occasion but left their bottles untouched.
For wine-lovers-come-entrepreneurs, Peter Venter and Kerry Simpson, untapped bottles were no longer good enough. What was a wine worth without its stories to tell, without people and loved ones to share them with?
